1. About us

Pickup is a private hire transport service run by PickupTaxi, United Kingdom. You can contact us at admin@pickuptaxi.co.uk.

Pickup is a pre-booked private hire service. All journeys must be booked in advance through our app, website or phone line. Our drivers can't accept passengers who stop them in the street.

We are applying for a private hire operator licence. We won't take bookings until the licence is granted.

2. The waiting list

• Joining the waiting list is free and doesn't commit you to anything.
• Joining doesn't guarantee a booking, a launch date or that we'll cover your area at launch.
• You must be 18 or over and give accurate details.
• Each person may join once. Duplicate or false sign-ups may be removed.
• You can leave the waiting list at any time by emailing admin@pickuptaxi.co.uk or replying STOP to any message.
• Our privacy policy explains how we use your details.

3. Founding member offer: 20% off your first airport trip

• The offer is open to people who joined the waiting list before we launch.
• You get 20% off the fare of your first airport transfer booked with Pickup. Booking fees and extras such as airport parking or waiting time charges aren't discounted.
• One discounted trip per person. It can't be combined with any other offer, except referral credit.
• We offer a limited number of founding member trips each week. Places go to waiting list members in the order they book. If a week is full, we'll offer you the next available week.
• The trip must be taken within 3 months of our launch date.
• The offer has no cash value, can't be exchanged or transferred, and only applies to journeys booked directly with Pickup, not through other apps or platforms.

4. Referral credit: £50 for every friend you refer

• When someone you refer joins the waiting list or signs up with your name or referral link, and then takes and pays for their first trip with Pickup, you'll earn £50 ride credit.
• The credit is used across two airport transfers: £25 off each.
• The person you refer must be new to Pickup and live at a different address. You can't refer yourself.
• Credit is added to your account after your friend's first trip is complete, and only if it isn't cancelled or refunded.
• Credit must be used within 12 months of being added. It has no cash value and can't be transferred.
• We may withhold or cancel credit if we reasonably believe the scheme has been misused, for example through fake accounts or spam.

5. Changing or ending the offers

We may change or end the founding member offer or the referral scheme, for example if they're misused or for reasons outside our control. If we do, we'll give reasonable notice and still honour any credit you've already earned.

6. Prices

We'll show our fixed prices when bookings open. You'll always see the full price before you book. Anything on this website about pricing is a general description, not an offer to provide a service at a particular price.

7. Using this website

• We try to keep this website accurate and available, but we can't guarantee it will always be error-free or online.
• The Pickup name, logo, design and content belong to us. Please don't copy or reuse them without our permission.
• Links to other websites, such as our waiting list form, are provided for convenience. We're not responsible for their content.
• Don't misuse the website, for example by trying to hack it, upload harmful code or submit false information.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit. Your legal rights as a consumer aren't affected.

Otherwise, we're not responsible for any loss arising from using this website or the waiting list, as no service is provided until you make a booking.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction.
